New Appointment for shoulder, elbow and hand conditions.
A new appointment with Mr. Cox lasts approximately 30 minutes. During this appointment, Mr. Cox will take your history, examine you, review any imaging and formulate a management plan. Mr. Cox is recognized by all the major medical insurers and his charges follow the schedule by your insurer.
Follow Up Appointment for shoulder, elbow and hand conditions.
Follow-up appointments are arranged to assess the results of scans, treatment, or surgery.
Injections for shoulder, elbow and hand conditions.
The use of injections to treat shoulder, elbow, and hand problems, is common. These can frequently be performed in the clinic although occasionally image guidance is recommended. For more information on injections during Covid-19 please click here.

Outpatient pricing:
Mr Cox is a recognised provider of all the major medical insurance companies. Our costs are transparent and follow a pricing tariff produced by all major medical insurance companies. Settlement of invoices is typically performed directly, between your insurance company and the clinic. Direct payment is also possible. Payments will be agreed with your insurance company before any surgery. Various procedures and surgery incur different costs dependent on their complexity. If you are paying for your treatment without insurance, please contact Mr Cox’s secretary Sophie Feist here so that the treating hospital can provide you with a Fixed Price Quotation for all aspects of your treatment, so there are no surprise costs.
New Appointment
Insurance: Mr. Cox is recognized by all the major medical insurers and his charges follow the schedule by your insurer.
Self funded: For patients independently funding their appointment, the fee will not exceed £200.
Follow-up appointments
Insurance: The fee schedule will follow that recommended by your medical insurer.
Self funded: For patients independently funding their appointment, the fee will not exceed £125.
Injections
Insurance: The fee for injections follows the recommended fee from your insurance company.
Self funded: If you are paying independently the cost of the injection will be £90.
